This image was captured during magic hour, just after sun rise, at Lost Dutchman State Park in Apache Junction, AZ. It was a cold, crisp cloudy morning. There was very heavy thick fog at the base of Superstition Mountain. I was looking for a good location to photograph the fog. I thought getting the Saguaro Cactus as the foreground, with the fog in the background, would've been a great shot. Sure enough it was. The Saguaro, the mountain and the fog in between came out wonderfully. It gives such beauty to the desert landscape. It looks like the fog was moving to the left, north, when it was actually going south of the mountain. The photo just looks so great!!!
